Taste is subjective. Taste is democratic. Taste is powerful. Taste – the combination of texture, aroma, temperature, aesthetic and environment – is also a window into someone else’s life or culture. Be confident in your taste, but remain curious and expose yourself to new tastes. Allow your taste to constantly evolve and grow – while keeping and cherishing the memories that taste creates. – Marcus Samuelsson author of The Soul of a New Cuisine.
About Must Eats
My fondest memories as a child most often involve enjoying relationships over a good meal. For instance, I first discovered the love of food in my Grandma's kitchen. She was the type of southern lady who would invite the mail man in for tea..what she really meant was come in for half a cake. My grandma taught me to cook with my senses and share delicious dishes with those I loved. From that point on, I have shared thousands of fabulous dishes with many great people. This site is dedicated to sharing those wonderful experiences. Look for Hot Spots to eat as well as recipes inspired by local dishes. My hope is that this blog will inspire you to share the experience of a good meal with a great friend.
